What is Twenix?
Twenix is an online teaching platform based in Spain that empowers professional adults in Spain and Italy. They focus on flexible, conversation-based learning.
Twenix sessions are designed around the “microlearning” concept, which consists of 26-minute conversation classes – which is reflected in their name: Twenix (Twenty-Six).

Twenix is now offering classes in French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Portuguese to its Spain- and Italy-based adult learners!
This announcement is a huge expansion and will appeal to those of you out there who speak other languages and have wanted to be able to teach online using your native language.

Twenix is a platform that teaches adults and has the same flexibility giving you the ability to open up your own hours and decide on your schedule.
It has the same “earn from day one,” no-prep, adult-learner model I already vouch for from teaching there myself but it is now open to teachers of 5 more languages!
This expansion signifies their growth and commitment to language learning as being one of the only adult-only centered platforms that are open to teachers of other languages.
The 5 New Tracks
Quick breakdown of each language and its fixed pay rate:
- French: €12.00–€14.00/hr
- German: €14.00–€16.00/hr
- Italian: €8.00–€10.00/hr
- Portuguese: €8.00–€10.00/hr
- Spanish: €8.00–€10.00/hr (Note: English pay remains country-based, per the existing model.
Twenix Pay for English-Speaking Teachers
If you are a native or near-native English speaker, you can also work for them by applying. You can make up to $16 / hour and their pay is based on the location that you live in.

Teachers are paid on a monthly basis. The platform automatically generates an invoice on the 2nd of each month that you need to confirm and then request your payment.
Wise is the preferred payment method so make sure you have set up your WISE(insert aff link) account during your application process. Payoneer is also an option if you don’t have a WISE account.
They also have great incentives:
- Hourly rates increase as you hit teaching milestones, with the first increment occurring after 100 classes.
- Seasonal Bonuses: During peak months, teachers can boost monthly earnings by up to 20% through weekly class-count incentives.

If you are wondering if anything else has changed…not really. Their platform keeps getting better and the curriculum is fantastic. Tweachers love the flexibility of the company and the conversation focused lessons. Twenix still remains a great option for online teachers who want to teach adults.

Who Should Apply to Twenix?
Native or highly fluent speakers of any of the 5 languages are eligible to apply. Also make sure you are currently freelance-eligible in your country of residence and comfortable teaching adult professionals.
Also, no degree is required and ESL/TEFL certifications or business sector knowledge are preferred, but not mandatory.

The application process is simple and straightforward. They are using the same process as before:
- Prepare your CV / Resume
- Submit your application
- Two short video tasks
- Onboarding (1–3 hrs).
My Take on Twenix
Twenix has always had great review from their teachers. I will say that there is no perfect online ESL company out there! All companies hae their pros and cons. It is important for you to look around and find on that fits your needs.
Personal note: I’ve taught English online with Twenix before and rate the flexibility and earn-from-day-one model highly. It is really exciting to see them open the door to other languages!
